Which Quartz Cleaner Should You Be Using?
Humans are creatures of habit and once we find a product that we like, or even when we just get used to using a certain one, we get stuck on it. Lots of us don’t even find our own preferences, we just go for whatever was used at home when we were growing up. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but it does mean that we often end up using inferior products just because we haven’t looked elsewhere. So, we thought we’d get out there and investigate quartz cleaner ourselves and see how other options on the market hold up to our products. From our least to most favourite, here’s what we found out…
Quartz Cleaner Countdown
Along with our reviews, we’ve provided the price of these quartz cleaner options. However, they come in a range of different sizes so you can’t really compare them. To make things easier, we’ve calculated the price per litre for each so you get an accurate comparison, which we’ve put in bold.
5 – Quartz Clean and Care Akemi 500ml – £16.99 £33.98 per litre
The quality of this product is quite good, it cleans well and doesn’t seem to leave a build-up of residue like a lot of cleaners do. It’s also food safe, which is always a plus. However, it wasn’t the best one we tried and as it is the second most expensive we felt like it might not be worth the money.
4 – Granite Gold Quartz Clean and Shine £7.99 – 710ml £11.25 per litre
This is the cheapest quartz cleaner on our list and it’s the price that has prevented it from being in fifth place. We found it took a bit of elbow grease to reach a streak-free shine. We’d probably advise not using it on black quartz as when we tried it and it came out a bit blotchy. It’s ok, but you are getting what you pay for.
3 – HG natural stone worktop cleaner £6.00 – 400ml £15 per litre
Another cheap and cheerful option, which is of notably better quality than the previous one. It does a good job and leaves a streak-free shine but does have a relatively strong smell.
2 – LTP Quartzcare £9.67 – 250ml £38.68 per litre
We really like this product, it’s quick, easy, non-abrasive and smells pretty good too! It is an expensive option, but like some of the others, you are really getting what you pay for. If you don’t choose Quean Clean products, this is the quartz cleaner you should be using.
1 – Quean Clean Quartz Treatment £16.99 – 750ml £22.65 per litre
We know you’ll think we’re simply being biased – we are trying our best not to be, we just truly do believe that our products are number one! Not only do they offer an excellent clean, easily as good (if not better) than any of the others, but the protective coating left also protects surfaces and makes future cleaning easier. Further, when you are looking at price per litre, we’re a perfect middle ground. Plus, you can always save more by choosing our value pack maintenance kit. With this purchase, you’d also qualify for free delivery!
